IBM Cognos TM1 Specialist
Edelway AG is a Professional Services Consultancy based in Switzerland. One of our best clients, a global company, based in the Bern/Basel area, is currently looking for a IBM Cognos TM1 Specialist to join them on a contract basis.
In this architecture and hands-on role, the position holder provides application modelling, development and support for the full life cycle of IBM COGNOS TM1 solutions.
Key Responsibilities include:
*Owns the technical TM1 framework and helps keeping solutions together.
*Understands requirements and processes and translate them into a platform specific solution and system design, effectively communicating with business.
*Experience in development and customizing of IBM COGNOS TM1 solutions
*Experience in testing design and activities and supporting the user acceptance testing.
*Supports roll-out activities and data migrations.
*Supports business understanding the best possible use of the system.
*Ensures appropriate quality system documentation.
Who you are
*University Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience in computer science, software engineering or similar field, preferably with experience working in the finance area - global environment.
*2 or more years of proven hands-on experience in ÌBM COGNOS TM1, having a relevant certificate is an asset.
*Strong technical skills, well organized with an ability to quickly learn new technical concepts and systems.
*Finance business process knowledge (eg business planning, accounting, controlling, etc.)
*Excellent English language skills, additional languages, eg German are an asset.
