IBM Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst for a 3 month contract role in Alpharetta, GA.

Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems and applications. Partners with users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business, systems, or application issues.

This person will be responsible primarily for the following:
Working with IT teams to assist them in understanding their license entitlement and usage under the IBM contract
Working with the IBM project team responsible for deploying the IBM License Metric tool throughout our systems to understand, document, and perform end user tasks
Monitoring IBM license usage at the enterprise level using available tools (HP Asset Manager, ILMT)
Partnering with the Vendor Management and Procurement teams in meetings with IBM

Detail orientation
Excel at an intermediate level
Good verbal/written communications
Comfortable working with staff at all levels (executive to tech)
Preferred
Experience with IBM ILMT tool
Experience with HP Asset Manager tool and DDMi agent
Experience with IBM Passport Advantage licensing tool
