IBM AIX System Administrator, Contract, Zurich, Switzerland

IBM AIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR, CONTRACT, ZURICH, SWITZERLAND

On behalf of our client, a leading international Bank, Swisslinx is looking for an IBM AIX System Administrator.

In this contracting position, your responsibilities will include:

-       Plan, design and optimize IBM AIX Servers and PO7 infrastructure including large multi-server, installations
-       Perform and lead the installation of AIX platform and all related components including infrastructure subsystems.
-       Drive the maintenance plan and automation tasks. Serve as the senior level resource to the organization for IBM p7 design, engineer, and installations
-       System Administration 2nd level of UNIX Systems
-       Project Management                 

In order to be considered as a potential candidate, you will bring the following skills:

- Strong expertise with IBM AIX 5.3, 6.1 or higher
- Solaris basic skills
- Good knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripting
- 5 years' working experience with technical AIX implementation including enterprise architecture design and high-availability solutions
- Knowledge of virtualization technology
- Fluent German and English
