The candidate in this position partners with Business Subject Matter Experts to refine requirements and update current report specifications for an agricultural quality reporting platform. S/He will be responsible for the creation of report specifications, analyze business requirements, update system interfaces, assist with test data and scenarios, and modify existing reporting programs. This Analyst will interact with the customer on a daily basis, and act as a partner with the broader IS organization.

EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL query language, relationship database design, and Information Builders WebFocus reporting tool
- Experience documenting application integration specifications and report specifications
- Strong interpersonal, analysis, and systems analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people with various levels of technical expertise

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics or Engineering plus
- 5 years of experience in programming analysis, software engineering, or software development
- MUST have IBI/WebFocus experience
- Experience working with mobile application architecture, data synchronization methods, and application-specific hardware environments
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
- Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Demonstrated capacity to deal with ambiguity and drive to consensus
- Demonstrates the highest level of programming proficiency
- Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and commitment to the job
- Experience managing customer expectations
- Demonstrates effective collaboration with external vendors and partners
- Demonstrates strong negotiation and conflict resolution skill
- Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in this field of specialization
- Experience completing assignments that are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity, with appreciable latitude for unreviewed action or decision
- Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
- Skills at expressing complex system attributes in business-oriented terms
- Experience interfacing with broad technology areas and a range of business and functional requirements
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Access and PowerPoint
- Project management experience
