RATE: £500 +

JOB TYPE: Contract

LENGTH: 6 month rolling contract

LOCATION: Central London

OVERVIEW:

The Identity Access Specialist, who will be heading up a team of two administrators, will be responsible for establishing and maintaining group wide Identity Access Management systems, in order to adequately protect information assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, controlling and reporting on access to information and systems in a manner that ensures employees have correct access and that compliance and regulatory requirements are met. They will proactively work with all areas of the business to implement practices that meet defined policies and standards for access management. As well as occasionally working closely with auditors and regulators.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive Identity Access Management programme to ensure that the integrity, confidentiality and availability of systems and data is owned, controlled or processed by the organisation.
- Own, manage and improve a robust Leaver/Joiner/Change process that efficiently and accurately supports the requirements of the business
- Maintain an IAM governance framework to support best practice, legal and regulator requirements.
- The job holder will be expected to regularly work with auditors and provide accurate detailed information as necessary
- Run regular recertification programmes to ensure access levels are confirmed to be at an accurate level
- Maintain the Active Directory group membership model in accordance with the company design
- Own the process for privileged access in accordance with company policy
- The team is currently sized at three (including this role) and the job holder will be responsible for hiring, training, staff development, performance management and annual performance reviews.
- Develop, maintain and publish up-to-date IAM policies, standards and guidelines.
- Oversee the approval, training, and dissemination of IAM policies and practices.
- Provide regular reporting on the current status of IAM to business stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of five years of experience in IAM.
- At least two years must be in a leadership role.
- Employment history must demonstrate increasing levels of responsibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate IAM concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
- High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
- High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision.
- Knowledge of Active Directory is mandatory. Broader knowledge of Windows, Linux, Oracle Databases, Cyber Ark is advantageous.
- Must have prior experience of personal involvement with audits
