I/S Field Services Technician Job

I/S FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Phoenix, AZ.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience with network/telecommunications equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Install and commission communications equipment in remote sites and electrical substations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Mid-level experience working with AC/DC Power, grounding, DataComm installation and testing, T1, ATM, Frame Relay, RS-232, RS-449, Microwave radio, 800 MHz Trunking radio systems
- Fiber Optics installation, termination and testing, Sonet nodes, multiplex equipment, tower and antenna installation and oversight,
- Able to safely operate 4 wheel drive vehicle w/standard transmission in extreme conditions
- High level of PC literacy in Windows and MS Office.
- Physical ability to work alone installing equipment in remote locations including substations.
- Up to 70% or more travel required locally
