I C Engineer

A leading Engineering firm is currently seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer. Qualified candidates for this position must have 5+ years of I&C engineering experience within a refinery executing capital projects for facility upgrades and improvements. This position is in the Philadelphia, PA area and is slated as a long term contract. Per Diem is available for qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Specify/select various types of instruments and sizing of control valves.
- Coordinate the proper installation of the equipment.
- Design the interconnection of the equipment to the facility control systems and associated motor controls.
- Coordinate project activities with other project team member to deliver the most effective design to the client.

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Chemical or Electrical Engineering required
- Experience with DCS (preferably Honeywell) and PLC (preferably Allen Bradley) based control systems
- Must have 5+ years of Instrumentation and controls experience
- Prior experience working with capital projects and upgrades in a refinery is required
- Having a PE is a plus
