I C Engineer

A leading Engineering firm is currently seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer. Qualified candidates for this position must have five years of I&C engineering experience within a petrochemical facility/ refinery and at least one year of Honeyell TDC 3000 and/or Experion DCS system design. This position is in the St Louis, MO area and is slated as a temp-to-perm position. Candidates interested in working solely contract or direct for this opportunity will also be considered. Our client prefers local talent but will consider per diem or relocation for highly qualified regional candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serve as the senior engineer in a facility DCS upgrade from Honeywell TDC 3000 to Honeywell Experion DCS.
- Specify, design, configure, test, and commission DCS and PLC based control systems and HMI/SCADA systems, control panels, junction boxes, and marshalling panels.
- Develop control system wiring diagrams and layout drawings, generate equipment specifications, and interpreting client specifications and industry standards.

REQUIREMENTS

- Must have 1 year plus design and configuration experience with Honeywell TDC 3000 and/or Honeywell Experion DCS
- BS in Engineering
- Must have 5+ years of Instrumentation and controls experience
- Experience with Refinery, Chemical Process and/or Chemical Manufacturing Projects
- Having a PE is a plus.
