I C Engineer

A global provider of engineering, construction and operations services is currently seeking an I&C Engineer to review and develop P&ID's and control / protection strategies in the Bellingham, WA, area. This is a 4 month CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates are preferred. The pay rates shown are estimates. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support PHA / LOPA analysis
- Support Process Engineers during SIF identification and Target SIL determination
- Coordinate SIS requirements with end users and clients
- Develop Safety Requirements Specifications
- Integrate instruments and control systems with DCS, PLC, and SIS

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree in Electrical, Chemical or related engineering discipline
- 12+ years combined experience in instrumentation, control systems and safety instrumented systems (SIS) in petrochemical industries
- In-depth understanding of all phases of the SIS life cycle, including applicable ISA / IEC standards
- CFSE, TUV or ISA SIS certification desirable
