I&C Coordinator/Manager

I&C Coordinator/Manager Required for a major telecoms client in Belgium!

Roles & Responsibilities
The Transmission & Radio Transmission & Radio I&C coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to:
*Collect and verify all prerequisites for a Radio I&C intervention, including:
-Verify prerequisites milestone statuses within roll-out process (forecasts & actuals)
-Verify & Collect all necessary documentation for radio configuration and integration.
-Check availability of site information in Customer Data Bases
-Check cell status on RNC & Switch (number & frequencies)
-Check access constraints on site level and requests authorizations if needed.

*Is responsible for finding and applying the best suited transmission solution, defining number of E1's for 2G, and IP availability for 3G and 4G.
*Daily planning of all I&C interventions including:
-Field resources
-OMC support resources
-ETK transmission resources
-Creation and follow-up of CR's

*Provide technical support during I&C interventions aiming for first time right
*Assess I&C reports and validate the related milestone(s) in the rollout process.
*Provide volume/quarterly planning on I&C interventions and related Drive Test interventions
*Provide support for troubleshooting remote and on site
*Solve problems escalated by Subcontractors and/or field engineers
*Analyses quality issues and problem raised by cellular engineering
*Report civil punches for every site intervention and solve if impacting site integration
*Push subcontractors and coordinators to deliver their sites within the defined lead time and quality
*Collect Screenshots of all ALD configurations for acceptance purposes
*Escalate problems to Project Manager and/or Line Manager
*Provide daily input for Site Handler through the site building process
*Is technical expert on Node-B & BTS equipment
*Know how to interpret Drive Test reports and can guide troubleshooting teams
*Is technical expert on Antenne Line Devices and their configurations
*Attends customer meetings on technical level for any HW modifications impacting I&C
*Operates as technical consultant for other Roll-out Departments
*Must be available for on site support or interventions in rush time
*Reports potential extra costs towards calculation team and carries out the financial follow-up
*Is in charge of the financial follow-up of the involved subcontractors

Required competence
*Ericsson and customer standards and procedures
*Excellent Civil Works 2G and 3G installation
*Excellent Antenna & feeder installation knowledge + measurement-interpretations
*Excellent Radio Access Network knowledge
*Knowledge of Core Networks
*Excellent BTS, MicroCell and NodeB Installation/Integration knowledge
*Excellent Microwave Installation and 2Mbit connection, Ethernet connection
*Excellent Belgian Safety rules requirements
*Excellent Acceptance leadership
*Target focused and result driven
*Document preparation and control
*Technical knowledge in Power
*Sub-contractor management
*Operational roll-out experience
*Climbing certificate recommended
*Familiar with current software releases deployed on the Radio Access network
*Language: Dutch or French AND English communication skills
