Hyperion/Web Application Server Administrator

HYPERION/WEB APPLICATION SERVER ADMINISTRATOR

To better support recently adopted technology, we are looking for an additional Application Server administrator with excellent skills in Hyperion server administration.

KEYS SKILLS:

- Hyperion server administration
- WebSphere Application Server administration
- Following technologies are an additional asset:
- Tomcat/JBOSS
- IIS/Apache (Web Server technology)
- Monitoring tools (Accelatis, VAS, Dynatrace, What's up )
- LifeRay
- Scripting languages (Perl, Powershell )
- bachelor/master degree or 5 years equivalent experience in the field
- working knowledge of Windows and AIX
- in-depth familiar with the above mentioned technologies
- capable of working under pressure
- no 9-to-5 mentality
- used/willing to work in an international environment
- excellent problem solving skills
- procedure based driven
- customer focused & strong in communication
- good knowledge of Dutch and English
- willing to take being part in a rotating standby regime

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- You will work in an international environment, part of a currently 2 persons headed team in the IT division.
- This team is responsible for 4 WebSphere Application Server environments hosting approximately 90 applications and 4 Hyperion environments hosting a major pan-e budgeting platform.
- This responsibility includes maintenance, upgrading, capacity planning as well as architectural and infrastructure improvements, automation
- The team is the point of contact for developers, service & helpdesk, as well as operations support.
- The team also provides some support during application development projects.
