Hyperion Essbase Contractor

I am currently working on an excellent opportunity in Sydney CBD. This is a large scale Oracle environment working at the forefront of all applications in the EPM Suit with some of the best consultants in the market place. As an organisation they do the majority of projects internally without outside assistance and the tenure of all contractors is minimum of 2 years, so you can see there is genuine longevity to this opportunity.

I am looking for a knowledgeable Essbase Consultant to work on a high profile project on one or our client sites. You will be tasked with building a Cube Based Reporting solution in Essbase which pulls large amounts of data from the General Ledger and produces a number of different reports for the senior management including P&L and Balance Sheet.

You will be required to gather requirements, write specifications, configure the reporting cube (including complex formulae), configure hierarchy, build specifications, then test solution and go live with the application.

Experience with Essbase Smart view
Experience with gathering requirements, designing and developing Cube
Based Reporting solutions
A strong understanding of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets
A strong knowledge of Tree Structures and Associated Security
The ability to understand and produce complicated formulas
The ability to perform sanity checks on the P&L and Balance Sheet
2 - 4 years' experience with Hyperion/Essbase
Experience with other applications in the EPM suit an advantage
