Hyper V Engineer

Hyper-V Virtualisation Specialist - Hertford - £35-45k

A role has become available within a large global service company for a Hyper -V specialist to work alongside the Infrastructure teams (Storage, DBAs, Exchange, VoIP). This would be a 3rd line roll with project work included.

Some of the projects included would be in moving the current virtualisation from VMWare over to Hyper V and moving onto VDI. This is an exciting role for someone with 1 - 2 years of Hyper V specialist experience to take their career to the next level.

The company has been around for more than 40 years and focuses on both private and public sectors.

Essential:

Hyper- V (2008) - 2012 would be a major advantage

VDI

Good all-round server support (Windows)

Desirable:

VMWare

Migration work

SAN/ Netapp (understanding the principles)
