An international subsea control systems supplier is actively looking for a Hydraulics Engineer with knowledge of Procurement and experience working closely with Design to join their engineering department in Germany. The role will require the selected applicant to:
- Be independently responsible for defining procurement specifications for purchased parts
- Understand client specifications
- Define and check component interfaces and monitor component schedules and costs
- Review the project specific production and contract documents as well as create technical documentation such as operation and maintenance manuals
- Check product designs
- Examine the feasibility of customer specifications alongside the quotation department

To be suitable for this position you will need to have the following background:
- Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a similar qualification
- Experience in international environment
- Knowledge of task-relevant programs eg MS Office, 2D-3D software
- Ability to work independently
