Hybrid Developer/Business Analyst required on a 12 Month contract in Zurich for our Global Financial Client
You will be responsible for developing components on a Microsoft 3-tier architecture system, with particular focus on the UI tier. The essential skills for this opportunity are Strong skills in OOP, .NET C# 4.5 or above, LINQ, multi-threading. Strong experience with WPF/MVVM pattern (candidates with extensive Silverlight knowledge could also be considered). Good DB design and SQL knowledge including SQL Server 2008 or above. Experience designing UI from a usability/user interaction point of view, requirements engineering/Business Analysis skills, test driven development and Agile/scrum experience is essential.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to Web technologies:
Asp.NET MVC & Web Api, JavaScript (jQuery, angular, knockout,) WCF, messaging/queue technologies. Project Management experience, Unit testing (eg NUnit) and mocking frameworks, Inversion of Control frameworks (eg Castle, Spring, ...)
Higher Education, such as Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or previous experience in the Finance/Insurance industries ideally within Trading/Portfolio Management would be a distinct advantage
