Proposed Job Title: HVAC System Engineer

Duration: 6/12 Months

Rate: Negotiable

Location: Derby

The team provides full life cycle electrical systems engineering for new Passenger rail vehicles.

Responsibilities extend to interface management, supplier development and customer liaison.

This role will cover Cab HVAC Systems and Saloon HVAC Systems. The team supports other functions with systems integration including Electrical Installation and Mechanical Installation.

The team also specializes in: troubleshooting for other departments, electrical system design, design assurance and validation, test, installation design and reliability growth initiatives.

To deliver these solutions the candidate will need to occasionally visit suppliers, customers, rail depots and for some work packages international engineering sites.

*Work to bombardier processes
*Plan their own workload and deliver it on-time and to the right quality.
*Delegated authority from the Cab & Saloon Systems Team Leader
*Technical specifications and report authoring.

Key Accountabilities

Act as the key interface for the function within the Project Team & provide the Technical Lead for the function.

Lead the planning and visualisation process, and process and strategy development

Trouble shoot & problem solve on all live projects.

Support the manager within the personnel development process.

Deputise for the function Manager as required with Delegated Authority for the Manager.
