HV/NV Planner

A leading Renewable Energy client is looking for a HV/NV/Planner to work on their offshore wind farm project. The Consultant will be working as a Planner for the HV support in the clients NW location. Our client is looking for an individual who will be able to start this role ASAP for an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of a further extension. Hours of work are full time 5 working days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

- Work and plan amongst the team, allocation of WO's in SAP to individuals and assist in the document control and WO close out process
- Prepare and maintain the time schedule in close cooperation with requirements in SAP
- Reporting (progress)
- Co-ordination and optimisation of time schedule interfaces between the main installation activities, and what if scenario analysis
- Update human resource plans
- Monitoring contractor progress and installation performance
- To assist the project organisation in the preparation of tender time schedules with built-in project milestones for employer/external supplies
- Review suppliers time schedules and ensure that they comply with the overall construction time schedule
- Collect progress data and prepare an overall progress plan at agreed intervals
- Ensure that all relevant planning-related experience is documented, shared and communicated to relevant parts of the project organisation
- Assess the influence of proposed changes on the time schedule and project milestones to the extent necessary
- Archive team generated documents in the clients systems in accordance with the clients QMS

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong understanding of SAP
- Technically competent to plan HV maintenance activities
- Experience, knowledge and competence equivalent to PMI SP (PMI Scheduling Professional)
