Senior Marine Consultant. Aberdeen, Negotiable Salary and Package I am currently working with a leading Marine Consultancy in the recruitment of a permanent Marine Consultant. Within this position you will be responsible for the delivery of Marine Consultancy Services in order to contribute to the achievement of the overall business objectives of the company. On a day to day basis duties will include managing customer enquires for marine consultancy services as well as generating project proposals. Once contracts have been assigned act as a project manager and the point of contact for clients as well as from time to time taking part in company development initiatives. This position calls for a candidate that has extensive maritime experience ideally coming from a Master Mariner background or be degree qualified in Nautical Sciences. International travel will be required within this position with a focus upon marine inspection and vessel auditing. You will also be responsible for vessel assurance audits to ensure that vessels are working in accrodance with client requirements and to the companies regulations and procedures. You will also be involved in vessel inspections. Essential requirements for the role: Master Mariner Extensive offshore experience/degree or relevant nautical studies qualifications Survey, auditing and marine inspection qualification and experience Senior management experience onboard vessel or offshore installation Good communication skills, written, verbal and listening Good analytical/problem solving skills Apologies if this role is not relevant to you.
