A HUMAN RESOURCES PROFESSIONAL is needed for a long term contract position with Yoh's client located in Pittsburgh, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The primary responsibility of this role is to administer health benefit eligibility and benefit deductions for active and retired employees and their dependents for the group health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, spending accounts, health savings account, and prescription drugs to ensure all plan rules are followed by external service providers (benefit administrator, health plans, etc.) and to ensure quality customer service is provided to customers.
- Manage the relationship with the benefit administration vendors, including but not limited to the following activities: coordinating all Annual Enrollment activities. Resolution of participant questions/inquiries raised internally or externally to setting priorities at vendors; contract and performance guarantee negotiation and review; communication support; monthly version and vendor system enhancements.
- Manage vendor performance and monitor the execution and performance of vendor deliverables. Track vendor metrics for assigned plans to identify when performance metrics are not met; provide regular metric reports to HR leadership; coordinate and lead service meetings; and escalate issues when vendors do not fulfil contractual obligations and performance metrics.
- Maintain full compliance with all ICS (Internal Control Systems) and other internal controls, ensuring adherence to all controls and providing testing support annually. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all assigned processes;
- Support annual vendor audit of benefit administrator to ensure compliance with all plan rules and operational effectiveness;
- Handle data entry into SAP HR system for benefit related changes. Many changes must be verified by another Benefit team member to support ICS (Internal Control Systems) controls;

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a primary focus in Benefits or Human Resource Management
- Three (3+) years of related benefits experience, with a focus on employer sponsored health plans, health plan design and delivery, plan compliance, and retiree coverage
- Demonstrated data extract, analysis, and validation experience;
- Experience working in a team oriented and customer service environment;
- Demonstrated ability to document work procedures;
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
- Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to handle stressful situations with diplomacy and tact;
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels;
- Strong focus on customer service;
- Ability to perform well under pressure;
- Ability to prioritize daily workload;
- Extensive knowledge and experience with sophisticated computer software applications such as Access, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Preferred - SAP HR experience.
