HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

HEAD OFFICE, WITHAM

FULL TIME, FIXED TERM CONTRACT OF UP TO 6 MONTHS, 37 HOURS PER WEEK

PAY BAND 4, STARTING SALARY £28,750 PER ANNUM (PRO-RATA)

We are seeking to recruit a full time member of staff to join the Human Resources Unit at Essex Probation Central Delivery Unit, Witham.

Reporting to the HR Manager, your main function will be to support the Transforming Rehabilitation Restructuring Programme. This will include preparing due diligence information on a monthly basis and other ad hoc HR duties which may be required.

You will need to demonstrate initiative and strong team working skills along with an ability to work under pressure. Excellent IT and in particular advanced Excel and HR Information Systems experience, together with excellent administrative skills are essential. You will need to be MCIPD qualified or above.

You will have had extensive experience within HR together with a good knowledge of HR related legislation, change management experience and ideally experience within the public sector.
