RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Working with senior managers, coaching and advising on all people issues and ensuring they have the best teams in place, in order to achieve the business goals

- Develop and deliver solutions to support organisational change and further drive best people practice including managing any structural reorganisations
- Employee Relations: managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances, sickness etc.
- Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement

* Performance Management: coaching managers on performance management issues and processes, ensuring poor performance managed in timely manner

* Learning & Development: providing guidance on development for managers and their teams and provide informal coaching to Senior Managers and their teams

* Recruitmentcoordinating recruitment requirements and supporting activity and campaigns

* Reward: advise and support on company approach to Benefits and Compensation, including annual cyclical processes

* In conjunction with the wider HR function, ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date globally, in line with current employment law. Ensure line managers are up to date with changes to any policies, running workshops where appropriate.

- * Deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skillUndertake adhoc strategic projects and manage through to completion including managing the acquisition and integration of companies andlarge scale restructuring exercises

HR BUSINESS PARTNER - SKILLS/ESSENTIALS:

*CIPD qualified desirable

- First class written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience of influencing at all levels with skills honed in HR business partnering/advisory roles
- Evidence of adding value as both an individual contributor and active team member

* Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders and challenging situations and individuals

* Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team

* Ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture

* Confident coordinating with other parts of HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development

* Demonstrable experience in managing TUPE, redundancy or other relevant HR projects

* Strong understanding of employment law

* A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high levels of employee satisfaction

- Proven experience of delivering appropriate development and reward for employees
- Experience of working in a global organisation with remote employees and Matrix reporting lines
- Experience of managing projects of major significance from start to completion
- Experience of working to tight and often changing deadlines
- Strong commercial generalist experience gained in a fast paced pressurised environment
