Projektbeschreibung

3 month temporary position for a Jr. Management Consultant/HR Assistant to directly support a federal law enforcement customer in providing professional administrative support within a federal human capital recruitment environment. The position will be on-site in Arlington, Virginia (metro-accessible). This position requires the existence of possession of a DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:

- Provide the business knowledge and skills to assist in office support functions. Administrative and office support functions may include (a) using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to develop tracking sheets, reports and presentations; (b) reviewing and analysing human resource data for accuracy; (c) data entry; (d) document scanning; (e) and general office support functions such as mail distribution and answering the phone.
- Receiving and verifying proper documentation/forms (resumes, SF50's, DD214' s, etc.) for Special Agent Applications. Entering information into an automated application system and/or tracking database that has a drop down menu with identifiers on them.
-Maintaining hard copy and electronic applicant files/records.
-Updating records to assure regulatory requirements are met.
- Preparing a variety of form letters for distribution to applicants.
- Making contact, when appropriate, with other HR Sections and agency Divisions to verify data.
- Monitoring the output from HR systems and initiating and/or completing the necessary actions required to correct errors.
- Processing, typing, and distributing HR documentation covering all types of personnel actions for assigned organizations.
- Reviewing and following-up on errors listings and computer edits from data input to ensure personnel actions are submitted and input on a timely basis.
- Providing information to applicants, employees, and supervisors in response to inquiries.
- Developing spreadsheets, tracking tools, reports and presentations using Microsoft Office suite.
- Conducting office support functions such as answering the phone, distributing mail, maintaining calendars, data entry, document scanning, and reserving and coordinating meetings and conference rooms.
- Preparing and mailing a variety of forms.
- Assembling and maintaining applicant files to include document scanning.
- When documents are scanned they much be reassembled in the same order.
- Perform routine filing.
- Deliver mail and files to offices in the agency HQ building.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Possession of a DoD Secret Clearance
- Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Attention to detail
- Strong administrative background
- Superior customer service skills
- Individual must be a self-starter
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- SharePoint competency
