HUMAN RESOURCE COORDINATOR needed for a six (6) MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Vacaville, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Serves as initial contact person in the Human Resources Department, providing direction on site policies, practices and procedures.
- Participates and assists with department projects and activities as requested; works with HR Head on implementation of new programs/procedures or to solicit assistance in the resolution of an HR related issue; researches and compiles information for special projects as needed; and looks for opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of site HR delivery systems.
- Coordinates and schedules meetings, interviews, appointments, etc.
- Prepares and ensures appropriate materials are available.
- Creates overheads for presentations using presentation graphics software as requested.
- Writes, edits and proofs correspondence, reports, memos, etc.
- Supports the administration of onboarding and offboarding of all associates.
- Processes biweekly payroll, reconciles payroll, absence tracking, and submits payroll to corporate headquarters.
- Maintains files and records for Human Resources. Enters and maintains data ensuring the accuracy of information into assigned department databases and spreadsheets

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience
- Three to five (3-5) years of hands of Human Resources experience in a generalist role required
- Ability to diplomatically communicate and respond to staff and public requests for information, materials, etc.
- Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and activities and work under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to work with limited daily direction; and able to exercise considerable initiative to provide a variety of advanced analytical and general HR administrative tasks.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Ability to handle sensitive documents and maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention-to-detail skills
- Applicant tracking system (BrassRing) or other HRIS systems experience highly desirable.
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, statutes, etc., which govern employment policies and practices.
- Complete understanding and use of human resources planning concepts/principles.
- Full knowledge of pharmaceutical industry practices
