HR BUSINESS PARTNER - CANARF WHARF - £70k plus excellent benefits My clients' are a global bank based in Canary Wharf. They currently have a requirement for a HR Business Partner to join there supportive HR team. Applications are welcomed from candidates who have operated in a generalist capacity in complex, global, matrix structured organisation regardless of sector experience. The purpose of this role is to support a technology focused client group and you will be involved in the development of the business unit's strategy from both a commercial and HR perspective and will be an integral member of the business unit leadership team, contributing and influencing in order to improve business performance. Key responsibilities: * Develop, drive and implement the HR strategy for your assigned business unit * Co-ordinate and influence in-country HR colleagues across Europe * Understand key performance issues and objectives and drive the HR agenda * Develop effective relationships with senior managers, working with them to develop solutions to meet their business needs * Coach, challenge and advise managers on OE and HR issues * Provide sound advice on all HR issues such as reward, talent, performance, OD, change, culture and leadership. * Work closely with Centers of Excellence to proactively identify and influence changes to improve HR service The ideal candidate will have: * Excellent technical HR knowledge * A strong commercial approach with a good understanding of business needs * Proven experience of working in partnership with line managers in order to improve people management practices * Proven ability to identify 'potential', develop and retain talent * Change Management experience * Knowledge of and experience of implementing best practice HR solutions to drive a high performance culture * Experience of coaching and influencing line managers * Strong communication skills and able to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of the organisation This is a great opportunity to join a global HR function with unlimited opportunities for career growth and development.
