HUMAN RESOURCE ADMINISTRATOR needed for a SIX (6) MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in East Hanover. NJ.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for processing new hires through entire pre-boarding life cycle (offer letter creation through 'ready to start' status). Initiate drug screens, asset allocation and workspace setup as requested by Divisions, ensuring each client group's unique needs are met.
- Provide support, direction and guidance to XD Division Staffing Teams, HRBPs and hiring managers in the areas new hire processes and workflow automation.
- Partners with other NAHRS HR Services sub teams in order to troubleshoot and resolve new hire processing delays.
- Utilizes multiple systems, ie; SAP, BrassRing, SharePoint, Quest Ticketing Tool and multiple web portals for processing internal transfers, I-9 Forms, relocation and other pre-boarding activities, while ensuring compliance with applicable Novartis hiring policies, guidelines and legal requirements.
- Participates in NAHRS projects; provides suggestions for process improvements and greater efficiencies.
- Daily interaction with the NAHRS sub-teams, XD Staffing teams, HRBPs, hiring managers third party vendors, security, health services and candidates.
- Meets with client groups on a bi-weekly basis to address new hire processing issues. Communicates process changes and compliance updates, gathers hiring forecasting data.
- Compiles individual new hires metrics and reports data to manager on a weekly basis

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Higher education or University graduate
- Understanding of staffing process and applicable policies/regulations.
- Minimum three (3) years of HR experience
- HR Shared Services experience preferred
- Strong communication skills necessary in a Matrix international environment
- Strong written and spoken English plus good written and spoken other language an advantage
- Practical experience with staffing or staffing admin roles and associated policies and processes
- SAP HCM experience an advantage (eg PA) § Policy & Process Compliance § Data accuracy and quality of offer letters, data entry in various systems
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical and technical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot new hire processing delays across NAHRS functions
- Response time/achievement of SLAs
- Strong multitasking and organizational management skills
