REMOTE WORK: 2 Days/Week (after initial knowledge transfer period)

HOURLY/SALARY: Up to $32 W2

ABOUT THE POSITION

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking an HTML/CSS/WordPress Developer for a Long-Term Contract opportunity in Addison, TX. The HTML/CSS/WordPress Developer will be constructing custom WordPress themes from scratch and architect custom post-types, shortcodes, and other WordPress functions to meet client needs. The HTML/CSS/WordPress Developer will integrate third party plugins and services into your WordPress site and plan out and define optimal/semantic HTML page structure. The HTML/CSS/WordPress Developer must possess experience testing Cross-Browser, Cross-Platform (Desktop, Mobile, etc.) applications. Additionally, the HTML/CSS/WordPress Developer will translate designs (slicing/creating final production-ready graphics) into working websites and help monitor/optimize/benchmark page performance.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2+ years experience of the following skill sets

- Front End Development - HTML5/CSS3
- Front End Development Frameworks - Foundation/960 Grid/1140 Grid, etc
- Cross-Browser Application Testing
- WordPress/CMS Development

- JavaScripting - Ground Up Development/Modifications, etc.
- JavaScript Library - JQuery/AJAX
- WAMP - Windows/Apache/MySQL/PHP
- MAMP - Mac OS-X/Apache/MySQL/PHP
