Here at Signet Trading Ltd we have an amazing opportunity for a HTML Developer to join our IT team at our Borehamwood head office in Hertfordshire on a temporary 12 month fixed-term contract. As HTML Developer here you'll report in to the Commercial Project Manager and will be designing and building new features and user interface components for web based application for our H.Samuel and Ernest Jones websites.

You'll work closely with our Multichannel and Marketing departments attending software design workshops to analyse requirements and develop innovative and impactful screen designs as part of our business-as-usual application development team.

Suitable applicants will be experienced in the following areas:  

- Proven recent experience of developing HTML in a commercial J2EE environment
- Java programming experience in a web environment
- Client-side JavaScript/jQuery development
- Experience of Spring Technology
- Proven ability to liaise confidently and effectively with non-technical business users and suppliers
