HSEQ Product Line Manager

Progressive Global Energy are working with a multi award winning Oil and Gas service company in sourcing an experienced HSEQ manager for the companies numerous product lines - which include Subsea, Well Intervention and Wireless Well Intervention. The successful candidate will be primarily involved in developing, managing and improving the HSEQ management systems up to and beyond the requirements of the international standards set. JOB CONTEXT The main function of the job is to guide development, facilitate maintenance and finally to promote continuous improvement of the HSEQ Management Systems within the selected Product Lines. The operational format of the job is as follows :- (1) Perform a "Gap Analysis" Audit of the Product Lines, creating a Development Plan towards potential accreditation to each standard. (2) Identify, develop and mentor a "HSEQManagementRepresentative" who will report progress on a monthly basis via a simple but structured reporting system that encourages communication. (3) Supportthe development of systems within each of the Management Standards, by providing training and encouragement to all staff via the various communication paths that are available to us, to ensure that theManagementSystems are understood to be business improvement tools and critical to future development. (4) Visits to the identified Product Lines on a regular basis to :- Perform staff training and internal audits as appropriate, to support PL management with the development and reviews of their product line HSEQ performance. Experience/Knowledge Required (1) Proven HSEQ management experience, previous employment in a systems development role. Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards and supporting tools. (2) ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Trained or Membership of Chartered Quality Institute. (3) Chartered Membership of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. (4) Personal credibility and standing in order to influence others. Ability to communicate at all levels. Industry experience in audit, root cause analysis, solution development and training delivery. This is a full time position based in Aberdeen.
