HSE Manager - Abu Dhabi - Contract

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Verify how effective the HSE MS is against the project requirements
- Implement the Project HSE MS and tailor aspects to meet Company requirements in accordance with the contract
- Form and develop a HSE Plan for the project in accordance with Company, and the corporate systems as practicable
- Ensure that hazard assessments and safety reviews are carried out and risks are identified, eliminated, or reduced to ALARP level
- Co-ordinate all accidents/incident reports and follow-up investigations as appropriate
- Co-ordinate HSE activities with other entities, and subcontractors/suppliers
- Assess and monitor supplier HSE management systems
- Plan, conduct, report, and follow up HSE audits on project activities
- Implement a Project HSE training and awareness programme, as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:

- Minimum of 15 years experience with offshore oil and gas in a senior supervisory position
- Minimum of 10 years relevant supervisory/management experience
- Degree qualified or with relative industry experience
- Knowledge and application of internationally recognized HSE management systems (ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 or others)
- Skilled in Emergency Response development and Management
- Able to develop Incident investigation and reporting systems company wide
- Experienced in implementation of Safety Programs and Procedures
- Lead Risk Assessment and Mitigation Processes
- PTW/ISSoW knowledge
