HSE MANAGER required to work with a WORLD-LEADING PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY on a permanent basis. The successful individual will provide professional health, safety and environmental advice to managers and staff across the site along with a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with UK legislation, Corporate Requirements and Standards, and current industry good practice.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- A minimum of 5 years HSE management experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a necessity.
- Degree or equivalent in a Scientific or Engineering discipline
- Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health
- Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Knowledge and application of UK Environmental Legislation applicable to the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Knowledge and application of Occupational Hygiene within a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment
- Experienced Accident Investigator
- Experienced in HSE Risk Management
- Experienced HSE Auditor
- Experienced Trainer
- Experienced in CDMC role for small projects
- Experienced in use of Microsoft Office
- Experienced Team Leader

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To develop and deliver a site HSE strategy
- To provide professional HSE advice and support to the site
- To continually develop the site HSE Management system
- Develop and deliver focused HSE training for all levels of staff
- To manage the HSE and Security teams
