HSE Engineer

A Renewable Energy client is looking for a HSE Engineer for itsr offshore wind farm project. Our client is looking for an individuals who can start this 17mths project approx. ASAP, hours of will be 5 working days per week, 10 hours per day. The individual should be prepared to occasionally work on weekends and some travel maybe required.

DESCRIPTION:

Support Yard Manager

- HSE representative in the field
- Promote the clients project safety culture
- Follow up on site HSE
- HSE Support
- Advice, coordinate and communicate with contractors according to activities, risk assessments and method statements, health, safety and environment arrangements
- Overall safety performance
- Campaigns
- Carry out HSE site inspection reports and follow up on findings
- Produce and review risk assessments and Method statement for the client's personnel
- Incident investigation and follow up
- Register, follow up and close out of near misses and observations
- Carry out vessel HSE inspections of installation vessels prior to arriving at the site

QUALIFICATIONS:
Engineer or workman with practical experience

- VCA certificate/supervision level
- Experience from HSE work and/or preferably from Offshore Wind Industry
- Must be able to communicate in English and Dutch (written and oral)

SPECIAL PROVISIONS:

- The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with Microsoft Office 2007 software of newer, and mobile telephone
