HSE COORDINATOR

6 MONTH CONTRACT

HSE PROFESSIONAL required - to work with a WORLD-LEADING PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY on a contract basis. The successful individual will lead and coordinate the Health, Safety and Environmental functions on the Site and encourage a HSE culture.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Formal Training in Health and Safety - NEBOSH or IOSH
- Demonstrable experience in a Health and Safety role
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or construction environment
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations is desirable
- Strong IT skills - MS Word and Powerpoint

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Monitor and report fully both local and corporate HSE data
- Analyse and resolve incidents. Publish investigation and outcomes to ensure site-wide communication
- Encourage an HSE focus in others on site through activities such as preparing and leading the HSE steering group meetings.
- Develop, maintain and track the HSE training on the Site
- Develop and run HSE projects to improve processes and procedures
- Develop and review risk assessments and method statements
- Record and track energy consumption on site for environmental improvement
