"HSE Advisor - Wind -Edinburgh- Staffing Position - 50 - 50K" Our client is a Manufacture of wind turbines and has a large portfolio globally. They are developing significantly within theUKwith numerous projects operational and more in the pipeline. They are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor who has extensive experience in the offshore wind market. Responsibilities of the role will include: Reporting to the UK QHSSE Manager and working with all teams and departments, the Offshore HSE Advisor will be responsible for planning and organising all HSE aspects of our offshore wind activities in support of one of the large projects on offer. Responsibilities: * Implementation and development of ISO 9001/14001/ 18001 Management System; * Development and implementation of project HSSE plan; * Review of all contractor and interface HSSE plans; * Coordination of HSSE Planning with the project teams (technical, consenting and controls); * HSSE assessment of all potential suppliers, consultants and contractors; * Defining contract-specific HSSE requirements, * Work with CDM coordinator, technical team and contractors, in supporting design reviews; * Support project governance and project stage gate reviews; * Review and support during implementation of contractual HSE requirements; * Contract/survey kick off meetings * Continuous improvement initiatives; * Auditing; * Other activities as directed by the QHSSE Manager. Deliverables * Corporate HSSE Plan; * Project HSSE Plan; * Scoping of contractual HSSE requirements as required by the project; * Weekly time writing of work activities; * Monthly report of work activities; * 6 month work plan.
