HSE Advisor

I am currently recruiting for a HSE Advisor for a large Principal contractor within the renewable market.

They are looking for an experienced HSE advisor for an initial contract of 6 month with a likely overall contract length of 18 months+.

The Client are currently constructing a large wind farm of the East Anglian coast.

Duties will include:-

- Conducts audits and inspections with participation of the Contractors
- Executes/ contributes to execution Procedures and Method Statements in relation to HSE
- Ensure compliance to the Construction Phase Plan and Project safety rules
-Ensure Compliance with Project Quality Inspections plans

The successful candidate will:-

- Have proven Health & Safety experience working on new build large scale construction projects. Related civil, electrical and mechanical engineering safety experience would be advantageous
- Ideally have previous renewable or Wind Farm Experience
- Have a recognised safety qualification (minimum of NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent) and hold corporate membership of a British safety institution (e.g. CMIOSH)
- Be able to work at height
- Have previous client facing experience
- Ability to liase and oversee contractors
- Have a working knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and related certification, additionally, knowledge of ISO9001 and 14001
- Have good IT and information systems (IS) skills
