HRIS Data Analyst

Projektbeschreibung

Randstad Professionals is currently seeking a HRIS Data Analyst for executing all data migration activities as outlined in the data migration plan across the HRIS implementation within the company.

Role:

In this role, the incumbent will make a key contribution to the implementation of a global HRIS for the company.  They will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the deliverables and that the data migration from all identified data sources is transitioned successfully to the Global HRIS system as the system of truth.

Principal tasks:

- Document the data migration blueprint covering the data migration scope
- Work with business stakeholders to explain and collect related business data in the appropriate templates
- Understand, document, develop and drive the ETL (SQL based) process (Extract, transform and load data)
- Co-ordinate closely with implementation vendor to assure the data is in correct format and have the data uploaded
- Run data integrity checks and provide periodic reports with data issues as part of data integrity and cleansing activities
- Prepare data reconciliation reporting after data has been uploaded
- Identify solutions related to data problems and assist the business to improve the data quality
- Be proactive in all data related issues and their resolution

Major responsibilities:

- Successful management of data migration scope, and understanding and consolidation of systems requirements in a large global organization with multiple IT infrastructures
- Data cleansing and migration from different sources of data and working with different business groups with varying levels of complexity in terms of data
- Complex data processing to achieve consolidated and stable singular source inclusive of consolidating flat files of different formats

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience required
- Experience in data migration activities in past projects
- Strong proven record  of SQL development, SQL server and associated tools such as SSIS and integration to external systems through sFTP, Access DB, understanding of virtual server set up.
- VBA is desirable but not essential if absolute expert in SQL.
- Experience with HRIS implementation in Workday, PeopleSoft or SAP HCM applications is desirable
- Understanding of project management and software project life cycle is desirable
- Experience of working in a major transformation/change program and in a fast paced project environment
