Must be able to manage multiple projects achieving on-time delivery and quality workmanship.
Must be comfortable interacting with executives.
At least four years of stand-up training experience.
Participate in the instructional development process by developing and editing training materials.
Must have excellent customer relationship skills including telephone skills and professional instructional skills.

General Summary:
This position involves training and instructional design and to a lesser degree, organizational development. The person holding this position is expected to conduct HR-application and leadership training and create courseware that supports this endeavor. This person will research content and pull information from a variety of sources to create engaging stand-up and web-based training. Person should be certified in the type of leadership training Syniverse offers. Person must be able to quickly learn vendor supplied courseware then turn around and teach from these materials.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
HR and business related application training and leadership training. The individual will teach classes on Syniverse's performance management system, cultural information from the Country Navigator application, and Geo Learning, the company's learning management system. The person will also conduct periodic business unit classes on CLM (Customer Lifecycle Management) and SWIFT (Ticketing program). Person will quickly learn and teach the DDI and Tracom material that Syniverse uses in their leadership classes. Travel is part of this position.
Instructional Design. Person will have to create materials including learner guides and job aids using sound instructional design principles. Person will create courses complete with objectives, introduction, summaries, conclusions and quiz questions. The individual will utilize adult learning theory in the construction of all materials and/or eLearnings. Person will develop and maintain materials through a variety of multimedia software and be prepared to generate and manipulate graphic images, animations, drawings, prints, sounds, text, data, and video into consolidated and seamless training products.
OD consulting. Person will meet with leaders throughout the organization in order to understand their performance issues. Person will develop training (or other) recommendations based on these conversations and be prepared to discuss these recommendations with the training director or senior OD person. Person will confer with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and business initiatives.
Development. Person will use outlines, adult learning theory, the ADDIE methodology and Kirkpatrick's Five Levels of Evaluation when developing learning materials and/or eLearnings. Person will upload eLearnings to the company's learning management system and be able to generate reports on user completion rates.
