HR Systems Project Manager - Global Project Lead

We are actively looking to recruit a HR Systems Project Manager for one of the leading Investment and Custody firms in the EMEA region.

Although the role is classed as a Project Manager, there will be elements of programme management within the role; to be clear, this is a very hands on role and this person will need to be able to personally deliver on a number of project initiatives. At this stage of the project, this individual will be instrumental in vendor selection, RFI, RFP tasks so will need to have a very well rounded understanding of the HR software industry.

My client requires this HR Systems Project Manager to have been the main Project lead, delivering large scale please only apply if you are ok with occasional trips abroad.

In terms of Greenfield projects, this does not get any more exciting; the successful Project Manager will be continually challenged with a plethora of Project working, weaving nicely in and out of Project and Programme duties on a weekly/monthly basis.

The key responsibilities will involve the Greenfield project planning phase of a new HR System, having control of areas surrounding planning, architecture, design and then implementation of the new system; experience of full end to end project life cycle will be essential.

We require a hands-on style of PM who can not only carry out high level Programme Management but will also be able to assist on a variety of current and outstanding Project Management tasks.

Areas of responsibility:
Strategic Planning
Forming and enhancing Internal and external Client relationships.
Resourcing and building a project team.
Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery
Production of end to end project life cycle
Global License negotiations
3rd party Vendor management
Create the architecture for new Global HR System

The skills required for this role are as follows:
Strong Project and Programme Management skills
Prince2 Methodology or similar
Experience with leading a Global Project relating to a complex HR System implementation
Strong experience with a variety of HR Systems, SAP Siebel, Oracle, Northgate, etc.
Superb communication and leadership qualities
Hands on, 'roll your sleeves up' working character
Has the ability to travel, 'occasional' to worldwide satellite offices.
