HR Strategic Change Advisor - CIPD, Government - London

Experienced HR STRATEGIC CHANGE ADVISOR required for central government department based in London.

CANDIDATES WILL BE CIPD QUALIFIED WITH EXTENSIVE PROFESSIONAL/SPECIALIST HR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE, AND A PROFESSIONAL UNDERSTANDING OF COMPLEX HR ISSUES.

The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of the business plan by supporting or directly managing the development and implementation of strategies that improve the effectiveness of the HR function within the Department and as part of Civil Service HR. Also through contributing to the management of large scale change impacting on the departmental HR function and those using its services and ensuring it operates within the Civil Service HR Operating Model. Contribute to and/or lead elements of the HR strategy development including input into development of HR business plans and identification of HR strategic priorities. Detailed development, management and delivery of specific agreed priorities and change programmes where impacts are related to significant change to the HR Operating Model or outward strategic HR change including: HR change management HR organisational restructures/Civil Service HR Interactions and impacts/Shared Services Transformation Programme/HR Operating Model projects. Will also be required to research, scope, produce and manage detailed project plans.

CANDIDATES WILL DEMONSTRATE THE ABILITY TO LEAD AND INFLUENCE LARGE GROUPS OF STAKEHOLDERS. EXPERIENCE OF IDENTIFYING AND IMPLEMENTING CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT IN HR PRACTICES. EXPERIENCE OF HR SHARED SERVICES DELIVERY AND TECHNOLOGY INCLUDING DESIGN, PROCESS IMPROVEMENT, DEPLOYMENT AND ASSOCIATED CHANGES TO HR PROCESSES AND HR OPERATING MODELS.
