You will be responsible for the successful and timely delivery of projects stemming from strategy, change programmes and projects within the HR function. These may be complex, high profile projects, deliverable over significant periods with substantial business impact. To research, scope, produce and manage detailed project plans. To design, implement and manage robust monitoring and reporting processes. To identify, manage and resolve risks and issues. Strategic input into development of business plans and identification of HR strategic priorities.

You should have Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnelor evidence of equivalent professional experience and expertise. Previous in-house recruitment experience required, ideally in conjunction with some experience as an external recruitment consultant managing high volume recruitment across multiple skill sets. Ability to think and act strategically across the employee resourcing spectrum, with evidence of capability to advise and deliver best practice in candidate attraction methodologies based on a sound knowledge of current employment legislation and how to apply a variety of candidate attraction methods to source appropriate talent including social media and direct sourcing methods. To sustain superior business performance. Strong business insight, with the ability to problem solve and manage risk, tailoring as appropriate to suit the situation. Possess highly effective project and time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage stakeholder expectations. Strong team player with the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships, trust and credibility with senior managers, internal HR colleagues, TU and external organisations. Ability to produce robust job descriptions/specifications to facilitate a highly effective candidate sourcing and selection. Working knowledge of recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems.

Essential:

- Previous in-house and external recruitment experience, managing high volumes across multiple skill sets
- Knowledge of current employment legislation, strong business insight, with the ability to problem solve and manage risk, tailoring as appropriate to suit the situation
- You will develop strategic resourcing plans for designated business areas with a forward, proactive outlook to include reviewing output of workforce planning to ensure understand the skills gap analysis for relevant BU and successfully execute against current and forecasted resourcing requirements.
-Design and deliver appropriate selection and assessment methodologies to assess candidate capabilities, including the delivery and interpretation of occupational assessments and psychometric profiling.
- Be commercial in all interactions; seek to understand business areas and convey strategic understanding.
- Ensure that all resourcing and selection activity is in line with relevant employment legislation, corporate strategy, business requirements and complements HR initiatives.
- Arrange and run recruitment campaigns, attend recruitment fairs, liaise with appropriate educational establishments to source candidates.
- Define and develop a direct sourcing strategy most relevant to the designated business area.
- Provide expert advice to key stakeholders and Senior Management teams in the business in relation to mobility proposals, to include secondments in/out and international assignments, liaising with the Reward international HR Advisor to deploy/recruit staff internationally ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
- Use Talentlink (ATS) to its maximum effect; maintain accurate records within the system and build talent pools for BU Analyse the effectiveness of recruitment methods; provide accurate and timely MI to engage effective monitoring and evaluation of recruitment activity; develop improvements to address future needs.
- Work closely with PSL in an account management approach, managing suppliers effectively
