HR Specialist - Redditch -Contract - £25 - 30 p/h

You will be working as a HR Country Management Specialist reporting to the Lead HR Country Manager for the UK and to provide support across a client base of 1200 employees. It is to cover the role for 5 months while the current holder has been seconded into another role within the wider HR department.

Overall Objectives:
* Ensure delivery of succinct UK HR Policies, Procedures, FAQ's, Guidance, Advisory service and projects that reflect best HR practice
* Support and contribute to a variety of policy areas and other initiatives as a proactive member project teams and work groups as appropriate.
* Work closely with line managers to provide high quality, accurate, timely and appropriate Management Information to support management decision making.
* Support line managers in the full range of HR advice and undertake grievances, disciplinaries, and sickness cases under the guidance of the UK HR Country Manager
* Manage the Maternity, paternity and other parental leave policies for the UK.
* Administer the production of redundancy quotes, and associated letters.
* Resolve employee complaints and questions using discretion within agreed policies.
* Provide cover for other roles within the team as necessary to meet peaks and troughs of work

Experience and Personal Skills Required:
* You will need previous HR experience and understand the complexities of working within an international environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Pro-active and able to work with minimum supervision
* Customer facing skills are essential, an eagerness to pick up ad hoc projects will be required and the candidate should display a considerate and caring attitude towards their work.
* Experience in using MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
