HR SERVICE DELIVERY PARTNER

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The primary function of the role is to provide a service focused on service excellence to the Business Managers. Using the HR Value Chain to contract with the business, providing a consultancy type service, giving advice, coaching and risk based information on HR and employee relations issues and related projects through to closure, ensuring that actions following the provision of that advice are executed and is legally compliant and meets the HR Statement of work and associated SLAs.

The focus of this role is to respond to, support and up skill managers in resolving their people management/employee relations issues.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Individually and as part of a team deliver an efficient, customer responsive case management Service, supporting managers and employees in carrying out casework relating to disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability and other performance management and learning and development interventions and evaluations, in order to support the delivery of the HR Statement of Work and associated SLAs.

Contribute to other HR related projects that arise throughout the year eg redundancy processes, restructuring exercises, n projects, site closures, policy development.

Provide customer focused, comprehensive and pragmatic people management advice and support to managers, employees and business partners in line with organisational policies, procedures and legal requirements.

Manage workforce casework, ensuring the organisation complies with employment law and makes appropriate recommendations where there is found to be any conflict or doubt.

Utilise the HR Value chain and consultancy cycle to effectively contract with the business - building confidence, trust and credibility; defining problems with a clear statement of objectives, time and resource commitment, how you will work together and recognising risks and anxieties; collecting and analysing data for diagnosis; generating options/recommendations; making decisions and planning; implementing the plan and taking action; disengage from assignments, avoiding mutual dependency with clients; and finally reviewing learning from each project

Provide a first class, high quality, professional HR service in the delivery of the HR calendar activities, ensuring principles, timelines and parameters are set to deliver a consistent approach across the business. These include performance management, employee engagement, promotions, pay review and bonus, talent management and succession planning.

Take ownership for identifying areas for self development, maintaining a professional understanding of the changing legislative environment to ensure that policies and processes are reviewed and updated in time for changes, continually improving and developing the knowledge data.

Build and maintain collaborative and professional partnership links with HR colleagues, managers and other key stakeholders to deliver solutions to identified business relevant issues and problems, developing a comprehensive understanding about the wider business and its customers.

Provide training and education sessions to up skill associates and managers on both a formal and informal basis.
