HR SENIOR BUSINESS PARTNER - INTERIM POSITION

6 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT

DAY RATE NEGOTIABLE

FULL TIME (DAYS NEGOTIABLE)

This role has been established to contribute to achieving our vision by bringing HR closer to the business and championing strategic people solutions. Business Partners need to be strategic and trusted advisors who understand our customers well, have strong consultancy skills and use information to drive decisions. HR Business Partners will develop strong and resilient client relationships and help directors and leadership teams to shape and execute their service plans. They will have a broad understanding of HR and change management and be able to apply this
knowledge in practice, seeking support from HR specialists as appropriate. Within the HR function, these roles will champion directorate business needs in contributing to the development of the People Strategy, and negotiate HR activity levels to meet defined service priorities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE OF BUSINESS PARTNERING WITHIN A PROJECT/CHANGE MANAGEMENT ENVIRONMENT, DETERMINING SUPPORT AND WORKING CLOSELY WITH BUSINESS ANALYSTS & PROJECT MANAGERS TO FACILITATE IMPLEMENTATION. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED BUSINESS PARTNER TO COME ONBOARD AN ALREADY THRIVING TEAM, LEARN NEW SKILLS AND INFLUENCE CHANGE.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for the development of the Directorate strategic people plan ensuring alignment with the broader business goals and to ensure successful delivery through effective working with internal and external partners
- To work in conjunction with senior management to develop, using established process, a strategic resource plan for the Directorate and to be involved in specific senior and strategic recruitment activities as required
- To support the directorate in ensuring that an effective Organisational Design solution is in place and to regularly review against the planned benefits and to advise the business on Organisation Design options and their implications
- Apply expertise in Change Management to influence and shape changes within the Directorates, and to ensure change is driven with pace.
- Work with the Directorate to establish the capability required to achieve its strategic objectives and to enable the assessment of current capability.
- CIPD or other post graduate qualification in human resources/development or equivalent by experience
- Significant experience of working with managers to develop appropriate HR interventions to support business needs.
- Understanding and practical experience of the range of HR functions, practice and procedure relevant to a modern HR environment
- Proven track record of successful project management.
