HR/Resource Strategy Specialist - Edinburgh or Glasgow

HR/RESOURCE STRATEGY SPECIALIST - EDINBURGH OR GLASGOW - 6 MONTHS +

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experience CIPD qualified HR/Resource specialist for an initial 6 months contract based in Glasgow or Edinburgh with our public sector client.

You will be expected to help develop the people resourcing strategy, engaging with various stakeholders, research and identify best practise solutions as well as the management of the recruitment for projects and delivery of resources and the development of the service implementation plans including induction, training and development.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS - - CIPD
- Experience of HR strategy development;
- Experience of developing a recruitment approach in disciplines where there is a high degree of competition for limited resource;
- Self-motivated and able to work to a high standard under own initiative;
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels across the organisation and externally;
- Excellent Microsoft Word skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS - - Experience developing propositions to attract and retain staff (Employer branding)
- Experience of using social media within the recruitment process
- Experience of working in an agency/consultancy function in an HR/recruitment capacity
- Experience of recruiting ICT resource;
- Experience of shared services;
- Have outstanding organisational abilities and an ability to maintain an understanding of the bigger picture whilst concentrating on the detail;
- Experience of working in project offices where there are expectations to deliver projects/programmes to time, budget and quality.

Candidates will be expected to hold a Basic Disclosure Scotland issued in the last 12 months or be happy to undergo this clearance.
