HR/Recruiting Support - Part Time

2-3 days per week £200-250pd

Purpose and Definition
The role of the Human Resources support is to guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the Company.
The Human Resources support will originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide a high performance culture that emphasises empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of an engaged and dynamic workforce.
The Human Resources support will be responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organisation's business goals.
The Human Resources support will co-ordinate the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs and will report to the CFO and will assist and advise company managers about Human Resources issues.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Recruiting and staffing
2. Staff development and retention programmes
3. Performance management and improvement systems
4. Employee on-boarding, development, needs assessment, and training

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns regarding employees
2. Policy development and documentation
3. Employee relations
4. Company employee and community communication
5. Compensation and benefits administration
6. Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
7. Employee services and counselling

Objectives
1. Health and safety of the workforce.
2. Development of an engaged and dynamic workforce.
3. Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasises quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.

Profile
1. Experienced HR professional
2. Experience of working in a small company
3. Experience of UK and US HR practices
4. Experience of remote working
5. Previous experience of working in a software or technology business desirable, but not essential
