HR Project Lead

Provide senior level HR project management and implementation support to the shared service centre, while leading or supporting the delivery of LHR group-wide and BSC led HR programmes and projects.

Principal accountabilities

- To lead and deliver a number of HR specific projects within the shared service centre:
- Coordinating an Oracle R12 upgrade
- Delivering fixes and enhancements to Oracle R12
- Project managing the Implementation of a new Case Management tool
- Project managing improvements and roll out of a new HR Intranet tool
- To support the establishment and delivery of goals, objectives and milestones with stakeholders and customers
- Part of a virtual/indirect team of stakeholders, customers, suppliers and others to achieve the programme objectives and ensures that gaps or issues are resolved to mitigate risks.
- Provide senior technical specialist knowledge to support the design, management and delivery of HR projects which meet business needs and improve the performance of the BSC and the HR function
- Influence architecture of the way we work and deliver new services
- Influencing change to the way HR works across LHR
- Work to develop and implement appropriate project and programme management processes, tools and techniques, including timely and succinct reporting to appropriate stakeholders

Qualifications and experience

- Project management experience essential - leading projects in a HR environment
- Experience of working with and implementing Oracle a distinct advantage
- Experience of working in a leadership role within a HR shared service centre desirable
- Six sigma or Process Improvement experience desirable
- Strong leadership and influencing capability to manage multiple and conflicting stakeholders
- Proven ability to deliver against a range of conflicting demands
- Experience of working at management level
- Commercially astute; strong relationship building/stakeholder management skills and adept at delivering results in a Matrix organisation/culture
- PC literate including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
