HR Business Improvement Lead

Key responsibilities
The role-holder will employ their expertise to design and implement new, consistent processes within the HR function. A new Target Operating Model is currently being defined.

Work is expected to include:
* Gathering information through interviewing, analysing and reviewing various documents, systems and workflows
* Mapping existing processes "as is" using process modelling tools and technique
* Analyzing existing business processes, priorities, business models and systems.
* Researching best practices, evaluating "as is" processes and redesigning them to achieve better efficiency and control compliance
* Defining, agreeing and implementing process performance measures
* Gaining organisational buy-in to the recommended changes
* Effectively translating recommended improvement opportunities into functional and system requirements
* Planning, reporting and executing work in line with the wider programme plan.

Key Skills & Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in process improvement, ideally within the HR function (Lean 6 sigma)
* Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively at all levels of the organisation
* Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills
* The ability to both work independently and with large teams
* Demonstrable experience of problem-solving, decision-making, sound judgement and assertiveness
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to, or facilitate, large groups of people
* Strong relationship management skills
* Self starter with strong attention to detail
* Demonstrable leadership qualities
* Proven experience of project management
* Professional qualification desirable
* Management consultancy experience desirable
