My client, a large public sector organisation, is currently looking for a HR Policy Implementation officer to join their team in Birmingham. The purpose of the role is to act as the focal point for centrally developed policies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing finalised policies and products and considering implementation within the company in conjunction with the HR Policy lead, the wider HR community and Trade Union Side.

The candidate will also:

- Keep the wider HR team informed of forthcoming policy changes resulting from central development
- Taking account of the impact of policy change on transition and transformation related activity ensuring that messages are consistent
- Ensuring that policies are implemented to the timescales agreed
- Provide a range of materials to support policy changes ensuring that staff, line managers, senior leaders, HR colleagues & Trade Union side understand drivers for change and key developments.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Previous HR policy knowledge essential.
- Knowledge of the government and/or Civil Service would also be beneficial but not essential
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in a range of office software products to enable tracking of progress and outcomes.

The role is being offered on an initial 4 month contract paying up to £350/day.
