HR Planning and Performance Lead

The Planning & Performance Lead will act as the business-Embedded specialist reporting directly to the Central HR PPM team.

The Planning & Performance Lead is responsible for assuring resource capacity is well managed in the functional HR team through careful planning of all HR activities - BAU and HR projects.

Responsibilities:

- Embed standardised HR performance management approach in Function, leveraging Upstream HR performance management standard.
- Overlay insight and commentary to standard PPM people reports and dashboards.
- Deliver requirements for additional, function-specific, PPM people reports to Central PPM team.
- Leveraging centrally defined planning tools, maintain a functional HR activity plan.
- Deliver functional Experienced and Graduate Demand Frame on behalf of Functional HRVP.
- Administer functional demand plan, including securing the relevant approvals for recruitment.
- Maintain regular reviews of all recruitment in satisfaction of in-year Demand.
- Maintain a budget, forecast and review of actuals for functional HR spend.
- Ensure GFO submissions for Functional HR spend are accurate.

Ideal candidates will have:

- Proven track record of rigorous attention to detail
- Proven track record of converting business requirements into reporting outputs - dashboards and reports
- Experience of working with business teams to create reporting specifications/requirements
- Experience of planning - project or activity planning
- Proven track record of analytical and numerical skills to understand and distil data, interpret trends, and provide insights
- Experience of working with third party application teams to develop reporting outputs, preferably Business Objects
- Proven record of communicating, written and oral, to all levels of organisations
- Excellent networking and people management skills, including skill in co-ordinating and influencing business professionals in joint problem solving activities
- Good listening, communication and influencing skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong understanding of project management and change management
