HR Payroll Manager - 6 Months, Nottingham

New exciting role based in Nottinghamshire for an experienced HR Payroll Manager to work on a 6 month contract.

Start date: ASAP
Interview Dates: ASAP
Duration: 6 months initially
Rate: £100 - £150 per day depending on experience

Essential Skills:
*Proven experience of managing payroll for a large organisation with multiple benefits and payment types
*Payroll management within HR Shared Service
*Degree Calibre qualifications
*Good working knowledge of Payroll, pensions, expenses and benefits
*SAP HR system knowledge or equivalent
*Team management experience

Other skills required:
*Ability to develop active internal and external networks and use these to support delivery of innovative Payroll, Pensions, Expenses and Benefits, operations solutions.
*Experience of project/programme management.
*Experience of SAP HR and Payroll solutions highly desirable
*Strong consulting and stakeholder/supplier management skills including the ability to challenge and influence at a senior level. Proven track record of effective stakeholder management and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
*Broad based business and commercial understanding and strong operational disciplines.
*Demonstrable effective team management skills and experience.
*Experience of managing flexible benefit and salary sacrifice schemes, including preparation for annual enrolment.

Job Purpose:

The role-holder is accountable for:

*The timely and accurate payment and reconciliation of employee remuneration, expenses and benefits and associated payments in relation to pensions contributions, tax and NI and third party flexible benefits suppliers.

*Compliance with all tax and other regulations related to the remuneration of employees and payment of expenses.

*The management and implementation of annual business year end and tax year end processes related to reward, payroll, pensions, expenses and benefits and implement changes arising from organisation reward reviews.

*Co-ordination of the annual project to support the Flexible Benefits scheme (My Choice) enrolment, including the delivery of any agreed changes to the scheme, as well as ongoing service delivery of the scheme.
