Projektbeschreibung

ROLE SCOPE:

Work as part of the project management team to understand what HR services need to be provided to support project delivery and be the voice of the operational business in shaping those HR services.

Be the key point of contact for all people related issues in the project.

Implement people strategies and HR programmes that are designed by the Centres of Expertise.

Provide and analyse people metrics and create plans to improve performance and where possible reduce people costs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Defining the HR service provision for the project and ensuring the rest of the HR team are given advance notice to deliver effectively.
- Timely provision of the correctly skilled resource.
- Planning and delivery of training & development opportunities.
- Facilitating the development, agreement of, measurement and regular review of a People Plan for the designated Project(s) to ensure that people resources closely align to the achievement of strategic business objectives and underpin the development of high performing teams.
- Helping managers identify talent and planning for succession
- Manage compliance with processes and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Manage, coach and develop talented teams to deliver high performance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assess progress against HR metrics within the project, compile reports and implement targeted improvement plans where required.
- Set up mechanisms to track the implementation of performance management processes within the Project(s) and feed results and progress into the Head of HR Partnering
- Manage hiring requests, write job specifications and validate salary budgets.
- Participate in induction events and track completion of induction for employees within the Project(s).

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

ESSENTIAL:

- Degree or equivalent
- CIPD qualified
- Demonstrates practical knowledge and application of strategic HR and internal consulting
- Knowledge of budgetry control and building the people costs into operational budgets.
- Good communicator
- Influencing and persuasion skills

DESIRABLE:

- Experience of handling complex Employee Relations
- Good knowledge of HR within market sectors and demonstrable skill in negotiation and bidding

EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL:

- Experience of working in a complex organisation providing professional advice to a range of stakeholders

DESIRABLE:

- Experience of the construction or Rail sector.
